The recent Wellness Colouring Contest organised by Nippon Paint in collaboration with Parenthood Magazine saw keen participation from 103 preschools nationwide, including REAL Kids. From a total of more than 8,800 participants, 11 students from REAL Kids have won some of the top prizes, with two centres namely REAL Kids Kajang Prima and REAL Kids Bukit Tinggi, clinching the top 2 prizes.
In this contest, REAL Kids Kajang Prima has won a painting package worth RM3,000 sponsored by Nippon Paint which includes paint and painting service for the centre. This contest aimed to educate children about health and wellness, such as covering their mouths when sneezing and washing hands to prevent the spread of germs. They also learn to take charge of their own health such as putting the face mask on when not feeling well.
As we navigate this unprecedented health crisis, REAL Kids is committed to making the health and safety of students and staff a top priority. By the same token, Nippon Paint Malaysia has also launched an antiviral and antibacterial paint, the Nippon Paint VirusGuard, which has new added features and is lab-tested to be 99% effective against the human Coronavirus (strain 229E). The Nippon Paint VirusGuard is an environmentally-friendly coating solution which contains the Silver Ion Technology that is proven to prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria. This paint is highly recommended to kindergartens and preschools, with its antiviral and antibacterial property. While we at REAL Kids are consistently evaluating our health and safety protocols as well as adapting quickly and efficiently to remote learning, let us all aim to do everything in the best interest of our children and families.
